Our Solar discoverycart ground mounted photovoltaic (PV) system is ready to use right out of the box. Capable of converting sunshine into clean electrical energy our discoverycart solar panel system is capable of returning enough energy into the grid to recharge our laptop cart. Discoverycart doesn't stop there. We have a great monitoring system that can actually display the amount of energy your panels are collecting. Compare that to the energy being used by our laptop carts and you have created an entire curriculum supported by the data from your discoverycart solar panel. This system is made up of our custom designed discoverycart Solar Cart, a quality made BP TM PV solar panel and an inverter from EnphaseTM. The cart base is 33" X42" X 38" h. It is constructed of 14G cold rolled steel and is powder coated in white. The Solar Cart base completely encloses the inverter and all electrical components. In addition the discovery Solar Cart base has enclosing bumpers to protect your solar panel from being struck from the side. The optional recognition plaque holder is designed to provide recognition to donors of each panel. This system comes with a built in fund raiser system. Specifications: The Solar Cart Base is 36" h X 31" w X 36" L made from 16g cold rolled steel with a white or black powder-coated finish. Weight is 60 pounds. 93 pounds with the solar panel. The assembly sits at 10" high at the front base and 48" high at the top rear of the solar panel. The product is shipped in 2 packages and the base will require some assembly with hand tools. |
